Youth Voices Take the Spotlight at Macro-Regional and Sea Basin Strategies Days 2024

On June 14, as part of the Macro-Regional and Sea Basin Strategies Days 2024 organized by DG REGIO in Brussels, young people were front and center during a dedicated plenary session held in the morning.

This special session, hosted within the framework of the Youth4Cooperation initiative, brought together youth representatives from various macro-regions. Maysara Abdelkarim (Egypt) and Pablo Pastore Vidal (Spain) were selected to represent the Council and participated in a dynamic panel discussion focused on the theme of youth in conflict.

They joined fellow youth delegates from macro-regional strategies including the Danube, Adriatic-Ionian, Alpine, and Baltic Sea regions, fostering dialogue and sharing perspectives on the challenges faced by young people across Europe and beyond.
